so today, because i recently ended my career as a student office assistant and i have no means of instant communication due to dead phone and no charger, the best thing for me to do right now, besides something productive, is to google image great danes.
why? because they are really big and if i ever get one it might be like owning a horse.

Remember Jaq Chartier? Of course you do cause you take all my advice and love everything i love. Well i’m so excited that she’s showing at the Elizabeth Leach Gallery in portland next month (417 NW 9th). check out the gallery website to look at more work. I’m hoping she will be there for first thursday so i can impress her with my knowledge of DNA.

i locked myself out of my appartment with my phone still inside.
and now, for some reason, i’ve been doing accounting at work for the last two hours.
i hope someone makes me something tasty to eat when i get home.
it’s Rome, only fifteen centuries later.
though it’s historical accuracy is questionable. The English around the time of the Reformation were not known for their chiseled jaw lines and pearly white teeth.
If you ever think that you have a problem with your patience and dedication to a project, look at the work of Tara Donovan and you’ll feel like a slug.
she takes ordinary objects and makes mind blowing installations. go through all the images on the link above, each one is more incomprehensible than the last.

I had an incredible weekend. let me tell you why,
thursday: Anathallo Show at the Doug Fir. All things awesome. i’m sure alec will elaborate when he can.
friday: Zoo with meg and alec. meg quit her job to do this.
dinner at Porque No. best food ever. it’s on mississippi, go to it and eat. you’ll feel better about life.
beer at Amnesia for Meg’s Birthday
saturday: Bridgeport Brewery and other portlandy things.
sunday: graduation. Translation, sitting in the sun for 3 hours not listening to anything said because i was too mad at the world for having to sit covered in a black polyester gown.
good thing i didn’t wear sun screen cause i would have missed out on experiencing my eyelids sunburned.
Barbque at my house with all the people i love. made up for said sunburn.
I’m now tired, permanently full, and happy.
